        Trail B

The Giant’s kettles trail of ICE WALK takes you on a journey to one of the valley’s hidden treasures: spectacular cavities carved by the ice thousands of years ago. Long concealed, they are now accessible for everyone to admire.

        ATTENTION

The trail runs directly below the Fontana Bianca dam. Sudden flood waves may occur in the streambed, also due to dam operations. In the event of a controlled release, a siren will sound: a 3-minute acoustic signal made up of 5-second pulses. If the siren is heard, or if water levels rise, leave the streambed immediately and head to the trail entrance or exit, or move to higher ground. The trail is closed in winter when snow or ice cover the ground, and also in case of flooding or heavy rainfall.
